Backend engineer with 6+ years across capital markets, customs, fashion-tech and heavy industry. I started with Java and Spring Boot on outsourced projects for the Indonesia Stock Exchange and a Free Trade Zone customs platform. Then I spent four years on Style Theory's Scala and Go microservices: logistics integrations, payments and vouchers, Kafka events, a GCP-to-AWS migration and the React SSR web. Now I design Go services end to end for a listed cement company: SSO, document automation with e-signatures and Indonesian Customs integration. I build the front end when a project needs it, and I back everything with tests that run against real infrastructure.

Experience

  • Application Developer (Backend) · PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk (Semen Merah Putih)

    Nov 2025 – Present

The internal software house of a publicly listed cement company. I design and build the backend services (and often their front ends) for plant operations, safety, customs, company documents and management reporting.

    • Built MemoFlow from scratch: memo PDFs on the company letterhead, approval chains and Mekari e-signatures (Go backend + React SSR front end).
    • Rewrote the company KPI dashboard (API and wall-screen web app) so confidential tonnages never reach the public screen.
    • Maintained and extended P2H, the heavy-equipment pre-use inspection system (Strapi backend + React CMS), across multiple business units and sites.
    • Integrated the bonded warehouse with Indonesian Customs (Bea Cukai) TPS Online over SOAP/XML.
    • Building a central SSO and identity provider for the internal apps, with a global logout pushed over Kafka.
    • Also shipped an auto-replying mailer (Go) and a vessel inbound reminder (NestJS).
  • Software Engineer II · Style Theory

    Feb 2023 – Oct 2025

A fashion rental subscription platform in Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia. I worked full stack across Scala Lagom and Go microservices, the GraphQL gateway, the React SSR customer web and the internal ops apps.

    • Integrated Janio as a new logistics provider end to end: database, bridge service, webhooks, customer flows and ops tooling.
    • Extended the voucher system to percentage discounts across Stripe and Xendit, with multi-plan, vertical and user-status rules.
    • Migrated backend and frontend services from GCP to AWS (Helm, RDS, Route 53, Jenkins → CircleCI), and later upgraded EKS to 1.32.
    • Rebuilt checkout and sign-in around OTP verification for every region and vertical, and cut checkout UI render time to under 100 ms.
    • Added OpenTelemetry tracing and metrics to the core Go services, and ran the system changes for the business wind-down.
    • Plus many more features, fixes and integrationsFull story in the portfolioPDF ↓
  • Junior Backend Developer · Padepokan 79

    Aug 2020 – Feb 2023

Outsourced backend developer, starting with the Java/Spring bootcamp. Placed at Style Theory (Aug 2021 – Aug 2022), the Indonesia Stock Exchange and a Free Trade Zone customs platform.

    • Style Theory: moved the Gojek and Versafleet webhooks out of the monolith into the logistic service, with Kafka events and duplicate filtering.
    • Style Theory: integrated Pickupp for Hong Kong, built the multi-address model and the account-deletion lifecycle with event-driven anonymisation.
    • More Style Theory work from this placementFull story in the portfolioPDF ↓
    • Free Trade Zone customs & excise (Java/Spring): implemented new tax rules and auditable compliance workflows.
    • Indonesia Stock Exchange XBRL: migrated a legacy JSF application and tightened filing validation.

  • Frontend Developer (freelance) · Dumons Coating

    Oct 2024 – Present

Websites for an automotive coating brand and its Hörnet product lineup.

    • Built dumonscoating.com as a Vue.js SPA, kept it up to date with new products, and in Nov 2026 ported it 1:1 to React SSR, prerendered for Netlify.
    • Built hornet.dumonscoating.com for the Hörnet lineup: landing page, product catalogue, reviews and a partner programme for workshops and shops.
